After a hideous experience at one of the major retailer I felt obliged to take time and deeply evaluate the term customer service, what is it, who is the customer, why customer service is so important

I find myself asking myself “am I a customer? and if I am why I was brutally humiliated in front of my child “.

Its became obvious to me that most of us consumer although we are fully aware of our rights and importance to the business however one hideous service easily convinces us otherwise if not it simply confuses us leaving us doubting our role to the success of the business. At time we feel so small to effect the much needed change to business, and for some of us we look at the business location on the map and quietly say what was I expecting from this so rural place I bet they have never heard of the word customer service and in the way we let them get away with illtreating they client and that is very wrong.

No matter how small or big the business is the fact of the matter is that they have to offer quality customer service to each and every client and if they mistakenly disrespected the customer they had to honour up and ratify the error. Doing so create and grow the fertile ground for that particular business to prosper because the truth remains the business can only improve from the feedback it receive from clients so if the client voice his/her unhappiness and the superior swop it under carpet and behave as if nothing happened then surely that business is DOOMED
